The Litchfield Rt 66 Skyview Drive-In Theater, located on Historic Old Route 66, is in its 74th consecutive season of bringing you big-screen entertainment. Opening in the spring of 1950, the Litchfield Skyview is the only original drive-in nationwide, still located on the Historic Mother Road.

Stay tuned this winter so you don't miss out on any of the excitement!
Our guests help us by doing two simple things, when they are here.
1) Visit the Skyview Concession. We have everything from Merchandise to corndogs, pizzas, burgers, fries, fried pickles, dippin dots, and all the popcorn you can eat!
2) We supply trash bags to every car. Please pick up your area before you leave! Being responsible for your area is a huge deal! We appreciate it so very much!
We really prefer you don't. The concession stand is what keeps the drive-in alive. It allows us to be able to keep the drive-in open. With the movie companies taking so much of the gate fee, the concession stand is the only way we are able to stay open.
Yes! At both our box office and our Skyview Concession.
They are not allowed in the buildings and need to be leashed in all public areas. You are responsible for any "presents" they leave behind!
We understand. Do not leave them unattended. Once the show has started the area under the screen, known as playland, is off limits. If you choose to send your teenage family members to the patio seating, remind them to not disrupt other guests.
Please note, we prosecute vandalism.
Our broadcast is local, not via satellite. This means car radios or battery-operated radios will work, but the apps on your phone will not. We sell and rent Radios at the concession. The Radio is $30, or you can rent for $30, and get $25, back at the end of the movie. Tune to 103.1 to hear our sound!
Our rules are very simple. If you choose to not follow them or are unkind to our volunteers or staff members, you can be asked to leave.
1) You MUST be able to turn off your vehicle lights. Please check your manual, call your dealership, or visit you manufactures website for instructions!
2) Our FRONT ROW is reserved for low profile vehicles. We do occasionally allow visually impaired/handicap clients to park in the front row as well. All parking is first come first served. Once you have found your spot, park so TWO vehicles can fit between each set of poles. Your neighbors may run their vehicle. You may be asked to turn off your vehicle if it is excessively noisy or fuming into others space.
If you choose to run your vehicle, and your battery dies, come see us! Please come to the lighted employee entrance. A light stays on over the door even when we have closed the cafe, and we have a jumper pack on hand just so we can help!
If for some reason you are unhappy with your space or neighbors once you have settled in, you do have the option of moving, or we provide additional seating with speakers at our Snack Bar Patio.
Yes! Admission is $7 per person at all times. The price will be the same if you stay for half of one movie or all of the evenings features.
If our gates are open for a show, our cafe will be too!
We close our gates and our snack bar 10-15 minutes into the last feature.
Occasionally there is a line at that point, and we will close as the line dies down.
No.
We always play rain or shine. If we have equipment failure and can not finish a show, we'll give out tickets for your next visit. This has only happened once.
